To control the display in the cart section, to show or hide the images, enabling zoom effects etc., some settings have to made in advance to achieve the desired results. The content plugin settings would also take effect when you have displayed your products using short code on the Joomla layout. This section explains about how the settings can be made.
📄️ Configuration
There are several options available for your online store. Any misconfiguration here will affect your storefront’s behavior. So take your time and configure the store correctly.
📄️ Currency
J2Commerce allows you to sell in multiple currencies. You can create as many currencies as you like. You can either set the exchange value of the currency manually or allow J2Commerce to fetch in real-time from the Google Financial API. (In Store configuration, you should set the Auto update currency to YES)
📄️ Custom Fields
These are created for additional details to be used in checkout processes that involve billing, payment, shipping etc. For instance, the ‘last name’ of a customer is not required for billing, but it is required for shipment. So, it is created as a custom field and made to be displayed in the shipping address.
